Choc-Almond Dream Mousse
🍫 CHOC-ALMOND DREAM MOUSSE 🍫
I stumbled across this chocolate mousse recipe this week and it is too good not to share with you 🤗
When I was trying to find a healthy choc mousse recipe, I found plenty of versions that still use melted chocolate so I was pleasantly surprised with this recipe PLUS it tastes AMAZING!! 😍
In fact, it so amazing that today I have made a batch for the third time this week 🤫
It has quickly become a favourite dessert in our household... our girls [3yo and 5yo] literally lick their bowls clean 😋
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ripe bananas (use mashed pumpkin if you don’t like banana)
- 1/2 avocado (can omit this)
- 2 heaped tbsp raw cacao powder
- 3 pitted dates
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- handful raw almonds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp stevia/honey (if you want it sweeter)
- 4 tbsp filtered water
- 1 tbsp of chocolate protein powder if you wish (I didn't add this)
Method:
I put all of the ingredients in my food processor. Top with raw nuts & cinnamon. Leave in the fridge to serve chilled.
