Reuse and Repurpose

 

 
To start this #invitationtoplay, I grabbed a few things from the recycle box in our play room... a cardboard takeaway cup holder, empty egg carton and also tongs and a selection of poms poms and bells and large beads [found at Spotlight] 🌈
 
This fine motor skill activity had the girls pinching their tongs moving the items from the cup holder to the sections in the egg carton... and choosing the way they wanted to sort them [by object, colour or random].
Plus they were challenged with the contrast of the hard beads & shiny bells to the soft & fluffy textures of the pompoms 👌🏻
