Choc Green Smoothie
I love smoothies and this chocolate protein smoothie with kale is seriously yummy! This smoothie is not only filled with protein; it also has healthy fats, carbs and magnesium to keep you satisfied 😋
Ingredients:
- 1/2 banana (frozen)
- 1/4 cup of kale (or spinach)
- 1 heaped tsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp maca powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp oats
- handful of ice
- 1.5 cups of liquid (I use half water and half almond milk)
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Optional: sweetener like honey, maple syrup, dates (depending on how sweet your protein powder is)
Method:
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
✖️ Add less liquid for a smoothie bowl
✖️ Add 1.5 cups of liquid for a smoothie
