Cooking with pasta

🌈 COOKING WITH PASTA 🌈

With the weather still wet and dreary in Perth ☔️, we needed an inside activity this morning.
I placed a basket full of dry pasta along with items from our @ikea_australia kids cooking set.
My 3yo had lots of fun scooping, pouring, making a shaker plus using the tongs to pinch and transport the pasta from the basket to her pots and pans. Apparently, on today's menu was 'chocolate mousse' 😆👏🏻

This is a really great #invitationtoplay activity that I can leave out and my daughter can come and go as she pleases 🤗

You can easily swap the dry pasta for rice or other legumes (be mindful of little ones with the smaller pieces 🙏🏻) but I find pasta is great for the interesting shapes, textures and sounds 💚
