A warm tonic to support your wellbeing OR you can 'pimp' this and add it to sparkling / mineral water OR freeze it into ice cubes and enjoy with an alcoholic beverage... choose your own adventure 😜
🔅 1/2 cup of grated ginger
🔅 1/2 cup of honey (or other sweetener - I chose honey for its health benefits)
🔅 1/2 cup of lemon juice
🔅 1 tsp turmeric (I would have added fresh but I didn't have any)
🔅 black pepper
In a small jug, add the freshly grated ginger and pour over half a cup of boiling water. Let this mixture sit and infuse.
In a large jar or glass bottle, fill with 1L of filtered water. Grab a strainer and pour the jug with the ginger mixture into the glass bottle.
Add remaining ingredients [honey, lemon juice, turmeric and black pepper] and stir.
