Macadamia and Dried Mango Chocs


I have made chocolate treats from scratch using cacao butter and coconut oil but for a time saving tip, I love to melt the 72% vegan chocolate buttons we buy from our local bulk foods store. A yummy treat we all enjoy!

Use any nut and fruit combo but macadamia and mango is so good. Pick any silicone mould you have at home (shaped ice cube tray).


  • 140 gram chocolate buttons (I use 72% vegan chocolate)
  • Aussie dried mango x 2 cheeks (chopped)
  • macadamia nuts (I filled each mould with one nut)


  1. Over a double boiler (or using short bursts in the microwave) gently melt the chocolate buttons in a heat proof bowl.
    ** I use a Pyrex glass jug so I can pour the mixture easily into the moulds once it has melted.
  2. Whilst the chocolate is melting, add a few pieces of chopped mango and one macadamia nut to each silicone mould.
  3. Once the chocolate has melted, pour it into the tray of silicone moulds and place in the fridge to set for 2-4 hours.
