Natural Deodorant

• NATURAL DEODORANT •

It is so simple to eradicate a common chemical laden product that you use daily to this #lowtox DIY verison ✔️

This is a simple swap out and it’s actually one of my very first DIY projects... fast forward 18 months and there’s no going back as this is so effective 🙌🏻

When you make your own products, you can customize your oil combo so today I chose Lavender + Patchouli + Ylang Ylang ❤️

If you find you are smelly when you use a natural deodorant then you most likely need to do a Pitt detox (betonite clay + apple cider vinegar + rosemary oil) which I know may sound crazy and gross 😝🤢 but the pores in our armpits get clogged which can be the reason for the ‘smell’... so giving them a detox basically helps you to smell like 🌹 ‘s 😉

Ingredients
  • 75 g shea butter
  • 65 g  coconut oil (the type that solidifies)
  • 15 g beeswax
  • 60 g arrowroot flour (or cornflour)
  • 25 g bi carb soda
  • 40 drops of essential oils
Method
  1. Add shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax to a glass bowl and heat until completely melted. (Double boiler method– place bowl on a pot of gently simmering water and stir frequently). Remove from heat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix until combined.
  3. Transfer into container of choice.
  4. Place into the fridge or freezer to set (this will reduce the chance of graininess developing over time).
