Peanut Butter Popcorn

Snacks are a must for kids and for us adults too! 😋
Popcorn is simple to make (although don't be fooled, I have burnt several pots along the way - don't get distracted! 😝) and by adding a few extra ingredients, this popcorn is delicious! 🤩

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup popping corn kernels
  • 1/2 tsp peanut butter powder
  • 1/2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Method:

  1. Heat a pot on medium heat (with a tight fitting lid).
  2. Add coconut oil and once melted, test the oil is warm by dropping in a corn kernel. If the oil is warm, the sides of the kernel will bubble. If there are no heat bubbles, wait until the oil has heated.
  3. Pour kernels into pot and place lid on the pot.
  4. It only takes 2-3 minutes for the kernels to pop. Once the popping slows down, remove the pot off the heat (so you don't burn the popcorn).
  5. Add peanut butter powder, sugar and salt and stir through the popcorn.
  6. Enjoy!
