Rice Play: Finding Letters and Bears

   

🌈 RICE PLAY 🌈

If you have a big bag of rice hiding in your cupboard then this is a great activity to try 😉... thankfully, I bought this rice a while ago and had it in a tub ready for the girls to play with 💕

We did this rice activity indoors so I had a fitted sheet on the floor to catch all of the rice [#thankmelater for that pearl of wisdom 😉]

With a tub full of rice:
🔅I hid wooden letters (from @kmartaus)
🔅Added these colored bears (from @modernteaching)
🔅Plus I gave the girls a tray with a selection of containers, scoops, funnels and measuring spoons which they used to scoop, measure, pour and divide.

And when they uncovered a letter amongst the rice, it was a prompt to make the sound and think of a word that started with the letter ⭐️

Another activity to keep our little ones busy while at home! 🙌🏻
