Taste Safe Slime

💚TASTE SAFE SLIME 💚

My girls haven't experienced slime before so when I came across this simple DIY recipe, I thought it would be FUN (for us all)! 😜
Especially as the school holidays start in Perth next week - this will be so handy to have in the fridge #youarewelcome 😉

This recipe makes a generous amount of slime so one 'serve' can certainly be shared with siblings. The consistency is not exactly like traditional slime.... it is more a mix between goop / oobleck / slime = FUN!
It’s grainy because of the chia seeds and ohhh so fun to play with 🤗

What you need:
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 3/4 cup water
food coloring
3-4 cups cornstarch

Instructions:
In a glass / bowl, mix the chia seeds, water and food coloring together.
Cover and fridge overnight (or for a few hours).
Uncover and add the cornstarch one cup at a time. Mix and then continue to add more cornstarch until you achieve the desired consistency; it should be like regular slime, slimy but it can be easily taken off the hands.
Store covered in the fridge.
* You will need to add a little water each time you take it out to use it. It will reactivate the slime.

Thank you for the play inspo @mothercould - my girls had so much fun! 🤗💖
